Placenta Salve is made with coconut oil, sweet almond oil, Shea Butter, and infused with placenta powder and various healing herbs, including calendula, comphrey and plantain leaf.
Many women enjoy using it for sore nipples (but should wipe it off prior to nursing), to heal C-Section incisions (after the wound is closed), and to lessen scarring, stretch marks, itching, and discomfort in the perineum. It can be used as soon as 3 days postpartum for hemorrhoids, perennial tearing, burns, diaper rash, eczema, sunburns and skin irritation.
If you have leftover capsules and would like more salve for future use, I just need 3-4 capsules to make 4 additional ounces of salve. This is also a great way to use up unused capsules!
